Getting your boudoir photos done is hard. It’s hard not to criticize how you look and feel about yourself. I know how women look at themselves, I do it everyday.
This experience is different. I now include hair and makeup in my sessions and there is a good reason for this. A shy and reserved girl comes into the studio, unsure of what she has gotten herself into. She sits in the chair with no mirror in sight and gives full control over (which sometimes for us women is hard to do). Once the hair and makeup is complete its the moment they have been waiting for. Thoughts going through their head…..Will this be ok? Will it look to heavy? What if I hate it? The mirror is in your hand, you take the first glance. Many women transform at that very moment. The shy, reserved girl that was once slouching in the chair, is now a sexy, confident woman who is sitting tall, and admiring the beauty she sees. I have had girls look int the mirror and say they never thought they could look that good. Well its you and no one else! Once their outfit is on, a bit of sass has come out. There is still nerves and insecurities but together we talk it out and by the end of your session your not ready to leave.

“It took a lot of deciding for me to go through with a boudoir shoot. I always thought you needed to be a size 0 girl to make the pictures look good and for me being a bigger girl I always thought if I did it they would not look good…..I was very wrong.
